President & CEO
Jay Twiner is the Owner and Founder of Deerwood Air & Electrical Solutions, bringing over 35 years of experience in HVAC and electrical services. Married and proud of his family, Jay is the father of three sons — one who served in the United States Marines Corps, one who served in the United States Army, and one who is currently serving in the United States Air Force.
Beyond the business, he enjoys exotic hunting, deep-sea fishing, and vacationing with his wife. Guided by integrity, grit, and traditional home values, Jay has built Deerwood on the principle of always placing the needs of the customer above the bottom line.
VP Electrical Division & Master Electrician
Howard Tanner a proud United States Marine Corps Veteran, serves as Vice President of the Electrical Division at Deerwood Air & Electrical Solutions, bringing over 15 years of hands-on industry experience to the team.
Known for his expertise, leadership, and commitment to quality service, Howard plays a key role in delivering reliable solutions to our residential, commercial, and industrial clients. Outside of work, he enjoys life with his wife and children and is an avid traveler, hiker and outdoorsman.
Chief Administrator & Accounting Director
Kathy Smith is the Chief Administrator & Accounting Director at Deerwood Air & Electrical Solutions and has been an essential part of the team since 2010. With over 45 years of accounting experience, she brings unmatched expertise and dedication to keeping our operations running smoothly. Outside of work, Kathy is married and cherishes time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She has a love for all things rock and roll, going on cruises, and above all, making memories with her family.
Chief of Marketing & Development Director
Zaykeese Riley a proud United States Army Veteran, is the Chief of Marketing & Development at Deerwood Air & Electrical Solutions, where he leads growth, branding, and community engagement initiatives. With a strong background in marketing strategy, negotiation and business development, he is passionate about helping the company expand its reach while staying rooted in service and integrity. Beyond the office, Zaykeese holds a Bachelors from the University of Houston, enjoys camping, travel and time with his family.

We came back late evening from vacation with my family to no air conditioning. We spent the first night at a hotel, but Jay (Owner) was able to meet us at the house the very next morning and he had two incredibly hard-working young men (Zachary and Mark) start work that same afternoon.

I want to personally Thank Deerwood Air Solutions especially the Owner and his crew. Sitting at home late in the evening google repairs and found this awesome company. Mind you it was after office and we all know the heat index in Houston. It was hot but the owner of this company answered and came over in less than an hour and OMG I had air. I was told years ago I needed to replaced inside and outside units but was not comfortable with other companies. Jay spoke to me and my husband and just his professionalism and his expertise I was sold.
